About
The surgeon who decided the system had to be rebuilt.
Robin Blackstone operated inside American medicine, led it, and advised it across 140 countries — then concluded that no patch would be enough. Doctor AI is the blueprint that conviction produced.

Robin P. Blackstone, MD, FACS, FASMBS is a surgeon, executive, and author whose career spans the operating room, the boardroom, and the front lines of reform. The first woman to serve as President of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, she held the Ira A. Fulton Endowed Chair at Banner Health, served as SVP of Clinical and Medical Affairs at Ethicon (Johnson & Johnson), and chaired the J&J Institute’s Global Surgery Advisory Board across 140 countries. She is a Professor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Arizona and a peer reviewer for JAMA and the New England Journal of Medicine.
